Fantasy Man reviews

Hajar Hosseini, 4 out of 5 stars

Another aspect that stood out to me as a reader, and which I consider a weakness, is the insistence on portraying all female characters as physically beautiful and fit.

Despite these shortcomings, reading this book proves to be an enjoyable experience. It significantly enriches the readers understanding of religious concepts and the history behind them while also prompting introspection. A lengthy concluding lecture in the book, although overly extended, evoked a sense in me, as a reader, that perhaps humanity has veered onto a fundamentally misguided path – one that has led to war, poverty, divisiveness, and baseless prejudices. It may be time for each of us to
reassess ourselves and return to the core principles of humanity: unity, friendship, and kindness.
